India Dominates Bangladesh in 3rd T20I, Seals Series 3-0

The Indian cricket team, captained by Suryakumar Yadav, claimed a decisive 3-0 victory in the T20I series against Bangladesh. In the third and final match, held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, India outplayed Bangladesh by a staggering 133 runs, bringing the series to a dominant close.

India's Victory March Continues

Suryakumar Yadav handed the championship trophy to his teammates during the presentation ceremony, marking India's remarkable win. Sanju Samson was named 'Player of the Match' for his outstanding performance, while Hardik Pandya took home the 'Player of the Series' honor. This victory also marked India's largest-ever win margin in T20Is, surpassing their previous wins against New Zealand by 168 runs in 2023 and Ireland by 143 runs in 2018.

This victory extended India's winning streak to 10 matches under Suryakumar’s leadership and secured their seventh consecutive bilateral series win on home soil.

Bangladesh Falls Short in the Chase

Chasing a formidable target of 298 runs, Bangladesh could only manage 164/7 in their 20 overs. Towhid Hridoy stood out with an unbeaten 63*, and Litton Das contributed 42 runs. However, no other batsmen were able to make a significant impact, with none surpassing 15 runs.

On the bowling front, Ravi Bishnoi played a pivotal role, taking three wickets and crossing the 50-wicket mark in T20Is. Mayank Yadav added two wickets, while Washington Sundar and Nitish Kumar Reddy chipped in with one wicket each.

India's Record-Breaking Total

Opting to bat first, the Indian lineup tore through Bangladesh’s bowling attack, setting a record for the highest total in a T20I match between full-member nations with 297/6 in 20 overs. The team smashed 25 boundaries and 22 sixes, showcasing their aggressive approach.
