Currently leading the points table, the Aussie women have shown dominance in this marquee event, winning both of their matches so far. The defending champions launched their campaign with a 6-wicket victory against the Asia Cup winners of 2024 and followed it up by defeating New Zealand with a convincing 60-run margin.

In contrast, Pakistan's women's team sits third in the rankings with one win and one loss. Their campaign began on a strong note, securing a 31-run win against Sri Lanka. However, they faltered in their next match, where Harmanpreet Kaur's Indian team defeated them by six wickets.

Australia tops Group A with four points from two matches and boasts a strong NRR of 2.524, making them the favorites in this tournament. Their campaign began with a commanding 6-wicket win over Sri Lanka, followed by a dominant 60-run triumph against New Zealand.

The bowlers, especially Megan Schutt, have been instrumental in their success. Schutt, the tournament's leading wicket-taker for Australia, is expected to continue her impressive form against Pakistan. Additionally, spinners Georgia Wareham and Sophie Molineux have effectively troubled the opposition batters, seeking to add more wickets to their tally. Wareham has also been tested in the top order, but the experiment has yet to yield significant results.
