Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Debuts in India with Prices Starting at Rs 14.99 Lakh

Hyundai has introduced a refreshed version of its Alcazar SUV in India, offering a bolder design and an interior inspired by the 2024 Creta. The facelifted Alcazar in India is launched with an introductory price of Rs 14.99 lakh. The diesel variants are priced starting at Rs 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). The refreshed 3-row SUV showcases design elements that align it with Hyundai's latest version of the Creta, from the new grille to the updated headlights. The tail lights and alloy wheels also get a redesign, giving the SUV a modernized appearance. Additionally, the interior takes significant inspiration from the Creta's dashboard layout. Exterior Design Changes

The exterior of the revamped Alcazar receives a significant upgrade. The facelift brings its design closer to that of the Hyundai Creta, while also borrowing features from the Hyundai Exter.

The front of the Alcazar now sports connected LED daytime running lights (DRLs), reminiscent of the Creta, along with H-shaped lighting elements similar to the Exter. The grille has also been updated, featuring a three-slat pattern similar to the Creta. The new dual-barrel LED headlights, now in a squared-off design, sit beside the grille. Additionally, a radar sensor for the advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) is now integrated into the front bumper.

The side profile has mostly remained unchanged, but the facelift brings a set of refreshed 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The side step has been removed, and replaced by a skid plate, and the roof rails now feature a silver finish.

At the rear, the Alcazar showcases a connected LED tail light design with vertically stacked lights forming an ‘H’ shape. The bumper adopts a rectangular design framed by silver accents, and the 'Alcazar' badge is positioned just below the plastic trim on the tail lights. The dual-tip exhaust has been retained in this updated model.

Interior Upgrades

Stepping inside, the Alcazar facelift shares many similarities with the updated Creta, including the sleek AC vents and a new climate control panel. The dual-screen setup has been revamped, and housed within an integrated unit. The cabin’s colour scheme now features a navy blue and brown theme, with a gloss black finish on the climate control panel.

The Alcazar is available in two seating configurations: a 6-seater with captain seats in the second row, or a 7-seater with a bench seat. All seats are upholstered in navy blue and brown leatherette. The front seats, along with the captain seats in the 6-seater, offer ventilation. The 6-seater version also includes an electric boss mode for adjusting the front passenger seat.
